For last Weeks Cybersmart challenge we did a Maori Poster which you have to Choose a positive word in maori, translate it and Put both words on Google drawing then you add Maori patterns where ever you want and how ever you want for Maori language Week 2024 and what I have chosen is the words He pai ake the it I te hore which means A little is better than none so what I think this means is that you should always be grateful for the things you get.
Last week, the school leaders went to BLAKE Explorers Camp.
My favourite activity was surfing because it was interesting and I loved to catch the waves while standing on the board. I felt comfortable and free while catching the waves.
At this camp, I learned to wake up early in the morning to tidy my bed every morning and how to wash my own plate. I learned that I could surf and that I could do anything if I put my mind to it.
The advice I would give those wanting to be school leaders in the future is to be mature and responsible and to always show respect to others around you and to serve as you can.

Our school leaders had the opportunity to go on this fantastic camp for free. They went on Tuesday the 5th and returned back on the 7th of March. It was a full on camp where our school leaders engaged in many fantastic experiences. The activities there gave the students ample opportunities to bond with each other and developed great leadership skills. The students also learned to embrace the beauty of nature, the importance of a healthy marine life and why there are marine reserves all around New Zealand. We would like to thank BLAKE Explorers for the awesome opportunity and making this camp free of charge for our wonderful leaders.
Greetings to you all and welcome to all the parents and the whanau of room 6 tamariki. We are embarking this academic year with great enthusiasm as we are striving for success and taking all challenges with a positive mindset. Whenever we encounter challenges on our academic journey this year, here are some of our favourite phrases, ” I will try”, “I can do it”, “It is still possible”, “I can give it a go” and”The best is still yet to come”. We do understand that it will take time for us to instill this idea as well as maintaining it throughout the year. TOGETHER WE CAN DO IT!
